
Born in Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey, the son of an Army Lieutenant Colonel, Randy spent most of his childhood in Heidelberg, Germany, where his father was stationed. He returned to the states to attend college, and obtained his BA degree from the University of South Florida in 1994. He then continued his education at the University of Akron School of Law where he achieved his JD degree, magna cum laude, in 1999. While in law school, Randy was a member of the Law Review and moot court and trial competition teams. He was admitted to the Ohio State Bar in 1999, and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Randy is a member of the Ohio State and Stark County Bar Associations.
Upon graduation from law school, Randy completed a clerkship with Judge Cheryl Waite of the Seventh District Court of Appeals in Youngstown, and then entered private practice.
While Randy's practice is concentrated in the areas of insurance defense, and tort, business, and commercial litigation, he also represents various political subdivisions, and currently serves as the Law Director for Tuscarawas Township.
Randy is an extreme sports enthusiast, both as a spectator and a participant, and enjoys camping and traveling with his son, Cameron.
