
Paul joined our firm in 2011 after receiving his JD, cum laude, from Michigan State University. While at Michigan State, Paul specialized in civil and criminal litigation, receiving the Walter E. Oberer Scholarship for excellence in trial advocacy. Paul was a member of the Trial Practice Institute as well as the Michigan State College of Law Moot Court Board. During the summer months, Paul had internships conducting criminal trials for both the Washtenaw County Public Defender in Ann Arbor, MI, and the Wayne County Prosecutor in Detroit, MI.
Prior to attending law school, Paul received his BA from Miami University in Oxford, OH. While at Miami, Paul was a member of the Miami University Men’s Swimming and Diving Team where he broke three school records in distance freestyle events, won seven individual conference titles, and finished 18th at the 2007 NCAA Championships. Paul was also named Miami University’s Male Athlete of the Year in 2007.
Paul was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2011, and is a member of the Ohio State and Stark County Bar associations. Paul resides in North Canton, Ohio. He is an avid sports fan who enjoys running and swimming for exercise.
