Attorney Eric Williams 

Eric achieved his BA degree, cum laude, from Kent State University in 1995, and obtained his JD degree, cum laude, from the University of Akron in 2000. While in law school, Eric was a member of the Law Review and the recipient of several awards, including the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and the Corpus Juris Secundum Award for Excellence for his studies in civil procedure, contracts, and international law.

Eric was honored as early as January 2009 as a "Rising Star" in civil litigation by Ohio Super Lawyers® and most recently in 2011 as a "Rising Star" in personal injury defense.

Eric was admitted to the Ohio State Bar in 2000, and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio State and Stark County Bar Associations.

While Eric’s practice focuses on insurance defense, tort, business, and commercial litigation, he also handles a wide variety of political subdivision matters. He is currently the Law Director for Plain Township, and also counsels several other political subdivisions in Stark and Carroll Counties.

In October, 2008, Eric successfully argued a case before the Ohio Supreme Court.

Eric resides in North Canton, Ohio, with his wife, Jen, and their daughters, Taylor, Lyndsie & Maria. Eric is a huge sports fan, and enjoys basketball, football, golf, weightlifting, running, and coaching youth teams.
