
Craig achieved his BA degree (with honors) in political science in 1981 from
Washington & Jefferson College. He then continued his education at the University
of Pittsburgh School of Law, obtaining his JD degree. Craig was admitted to the
Ohio State Bar in 1984, and is also admitted to practice in the United States
District Court, both Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, and United States
6th District Court of Appeals. Craig is a member of the Ohio State, Stark County
and Mahoning County Bar Associations, and the Federation of Defense and Corporate
Counsel.
Ohio Super Lawyers® has honored Craig each year as a "Super Lawyer" for his work in personal injury defense, and they have again honored him for 2011.
Craig has been in private practice for more than 25 years, focusing primarily in the area of tort, commercial, and business litigation and, in particular, insurance defense. During that time, Craig has tried over 170 jury trials throughout northeast and central Ohio, and has argued before the Ohio Supreme Court. Craig has maintained an AV® Peer Review Rating for 15 consecutive years.
Craig started our firm 12 years ago and we have grown, and have established a reputation of attorneys who will take their cases to jury trials when it is prudent to do so on behalf of our clients. Many attorneys claim to be litigators; we are proven trial attorneys.
Craig is also a frequent lecturer and has authored numerous articles and presented seminars on a wide variety of insurance topics and issues.
Craig's favorite activity outside the office is golf. He especially enjoys family activities with his wife Pam, and their daughters, Kate, Corrin, and Christine. The Pelini family lives in North Canton, Ohio, with their three dogs, Norman, Stevie, and Vinnie.
